Hello, and Welcome to DTLYD‘s Soulfully Nourished – Cooking and Eating the Mindful way. Mindful eating has a lot in common with mindful cooking. They both require you to slow down and reflect on what you’re doing, and they both honour body and soul.
One of the things I LOVE about cooking is that it’s simply a way of taking care of myself – an act of Self-Love and Self-Care. There’s nothing more satisfying than a meal cooked mindfully – with intention and love – it’s a feeling of abundance. The fragrance of garlic, the crackle from the skillet, and the sight of a perfectly baked pie coming out from the oven…. DIVINE! Cooking speaks to all of my senses and it’s a joy I am so proud to know!

As a self-confessed foodie, I decided to become a BonAppetour Host, which means you can come and cook with me on the gorgeous countryside of Hertfordshire. My home is surrounded by gorgeous nature with a river and a canal. View from dining table overlooks the tranquil canal and you see houseboats passing by.
